from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Geneva Community Center. Geneva Community Fitness offers a wide variety of activities. Tai Chi, Qui Gong, Pilates, Yoga, Kickboxing, Martial Arts, Bench Aerobics, Body Building Challenge, Lo Impact, No Impact, Egyptian Dancing, Salsa Dancing & Hip Hop. 2007 December 1, Saturday
- At 8:00 AM join a Seminole County Natural Lands docent, Joan Jarvis, for the FIRST Natural Lands guided hike of the beautiful Black Bear Wilderness Area! The Black Bear Wilderness Area is located in northwest Seminole County at 5298 Michigan Ave, Sanford, Florida 32771. This 2-mile nature hike will take approximately 2 hours and may have rough terrain. Wear sunglasses, hat, bug spray and bring water. Call 407-349-0959 to sign up or for more information. Free.
December 1, Saturday - CANCELLED - Geneva Community Yard Sale that is held the first Saturday of December each year by the Historical Society has had to be canceled for this
year. See Dec. 9 and 15 below for other yard sale possibilities. December 2, Sunday
- The newly formed Second Chance Church of the Nazarene on SR 46 here in Geneva is having its first Sunday Church Service at 11:00 AM. For more information on the new Church's happenings call Pastor John Miller at 407-349-1243.

- The Museum of Geneva History will be open from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Admission is free. It is located next door to the Geneva Community Center on 1st Street in Geneva.
December 5, Wednesday (every Wednesday)
- Community Dinners are held on Wednesdays at the Geneva Methodist Church. The delicious homemade meals are served from 5 - 6:30 PM. All dinners are $5 per person and include drink and dessert. You can also get the meals as a carryout for your family. Come eat with your neighbors. Open to everyone in the community! It's a fun time.

- In its second year of operation, the First United Methodist Church Thrift House is open on Wednesdays from 9 AM - 1 PM, and Saturdays from 10 AM - 2 PM. The Thrift House is located in the house on Church Street behind the church building and the playground. For donations or questions, call Susan Ruble at 407-349-9005.
December 6, Thursday (every Thursday)
- Keep in shape by participating in the Geneva Community Fitness Classes from 7 - 8 PM. The cost is $4 per class - no contracts. Elements of almost all fitness areas are incorporated. December 8 and 15, Saturdays - The Geneva Historical Society will once again have its sale items at the Post Office Christmas Sale in the parking lot for you to get some great
Christmas gifts.
The newest book Maps, Charts, and Aerials of the island of Geneva is for history and map lovers, the newest historic print -the Geneva Grocery and Feed on Avenue C, the History Of Geneva, and other historic Geneva books, T-shirts, old toys, note cards, etc. will be available. The table will be in the Parking lot from 9-11:00 AM or as long as the Post Office is open on that busy Christmas package mailing day.
December 6, Thursday - FCAT Parent Night - Grades 3-5, along with Musical Mustangs Holiday Performance, "I Need A Holiday Vacation!"

December 9, Sunday - Fort Lane Park Community
Yard Sale, on Ft. Lane Park Road, which is off Jungle Road. - 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Set up a table for a $5 donation to the park. Bring your own tables. There will be a potluck-covered
dish for lunch. If you wish to eat, bring a dish large enough for your family plus 1. You can reserve a space by calling 407-349-9639 Dec. 9 & 16 - Sunday
- Geneva Men For Christ is a men's fellowship for all men of Geneva, ages 18 and up. This fellowship meets at 6:00 PM in the new fellowship hall at First Baptist Church of Geneva. Note that this will be two weeks in a row in December.
Dec. 14, Friday
- The Geneva Evergreens will meet on Friday, December 14th. They will be going on a field trip to Brunch followed by a movie back at the church. Jessie Harrelson at 407 349-5112 to RSVP
December 15 , Saturday - Craft & Yard Sale on December 15 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Geneva Community Center.

There is toe-tapping music -- bluegrass, old country, and gospel tunes by local jammers. If you play a bluegrass type instrument, bring it along and join in. If you want to eat, there are hot-dogs, hamburgers, sausage, chips, dessert, and drink for sale at a very modest cost. Dinner is served from 6:00 to 7:00 PM (or until the food runs out). There is also a 50-50 raffle each month where the winner gets half the pot. The other half of the pot and the food income benefit the Geneva Community Center. The music starts around 6:30 and lasts until around 9:30. Come for a good time!
December 24, Monday to January 4, Friday, is Geneva Elementary School's Winter Break. School resumes January 7, 2008.

- Christmas Eve Service at the First Baptist Church of from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. This year the children's choir will perform the musical - "The Christmas Story, Through The Eyes of the Friendly Beasts". narated by Pastor Permenter. Refreshments will be served after the service.
December 24, Monday - 7 PM - The First United Methodist of Geneva will be having its Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.
